The 83rd National Coursing Meeting takes place in Powerstown Park, Clonmel, on 4,5 and 6 February 2008. The renewal of this great national sporting and cultural event will again draw huge crowds to enjoy the top-class sport provided on each of the three days. This event attracts upwards of 30,000 to the Clonmel area each year. Visitors come from all over Ireland, from the UK, the Continent, USA and Australia to experience the joy of watching the World’s fastest greyhounds showing their paces behind the legendary Irish Hare. The week starts on Sunday with the Ladies International open meeting and concludes with horse racing at Powerstown Park on Thursday.
