This prize was generously donated by Donald Walshe of Dromoland Sports. Despite some heavy showers the event was well supported with many other sporting traps in constant use throughout the day. Shooting skills and the ability to work as a team were the key to success in the 30 bird partridge flush with the highest score of the day being 25. Countryside Alliance Ireland would like to thank the Marquis and Marchioness of Waterford for generously donating the use of their magnificent estate at Curraghmore, near Waterford, for the second Countryside Alliance Ireland annual clay pigeon shoot. We also wish to thank Gene Murphy (Shooting & Fishin in Waterford) and his team of helpers for an impressive display of trap management on the day. David Moore of DMA Field Sports for generously sponsoring the clays for the competition, and all the volunteers who assisted Countryside Alliance Ireland over the weekend. |
