The National Association of Sporting Rifle and Pistol Clubs (NASRPC) are gathering statistical information regarding firearms refusals on behalf of their legal team. The association is requesting information from those who have been refused firearms certificates under the new licensing system and who are not in judicial review, but who have: 1. Been refused a firearms certificate and have not lodged any appeal. 2. Been refused a firearms certificate and have lodged an appeal at district court. 3. Lodged and lost such an appeal in the District Court. The required details are: · Name, Email and Telephone number (address not required) · District: · Details of the firearm(s) refused in type and caliber. · Details/reason given for the refusal· Name of Chief Superintendent or Superintendent who issued refusal. · Did you receive refusal and did not lodge and appeal? · Did you receive refusal and have lodged an appeal with the district court? (please give which court) · Did you lodge an appeal in district court and loose the appeal? (please supply court and date.) Are you a current member of a target shooting club? The collation of this data is important to future licensing and beneficial to all. Data may be shared by NASRPC with appropriate non state bodies in the interest of future firearms licensing.
