National Country Sports Fair - Launch
12th May 2008 

Countryside Alliance Ireland attended the offical launch of the National Country Sports Fair at Foymore Lodge, Country Pursuits Centre, of the 13th annual National Countrysports Fair to be held at Moira Demense in the city of Lisburn on the 31st May and the 1st June 2008. 

Event organiser Bill Beckett said: "The National Countrysports Fair is for everyone who loves animals and who appreciates the country way of life. This is a very interactive event and allows people, especially children a chance to get up close to nature". Bill continued: "We have everything from the quirky, to the cute, to the extradorinary. Visitors can try their hands at everything from clay pigeon shooting, archery, air rifle shooting, 4x4 driving and witness the acient Scottish art of stick-dressing.  Many people just choose to come along and see the many stalls and the execptional main arena display". This event promises to be bigger and better than last years event.

This is a Lisburn City Council event amd is sponsored in association with P&O Irish Sea and runs from 09:00 until 18:00 each day. The admission price is £10 for adults and £2 for children. Car Parking is completely free and located on-site at Moira Demense.
