Wild DeerThe 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Wild Deer Association of Ireland will be held on Saturday June 19th 2010 in the Kilcoran Lodge Hotel, Cahir, Co. Tipperary  you can contact the hotel on 052 7441288 for accommodation in the Hotel or Woodland Lodges, ask for the WDAI preferential rate.

The committee would ask all members to attend, as there are many important issues to discuss. Following the AGM a venison banquette will be provided, starting at 9.00pm, family members are also welcome.

In conjunction with the AGM our annual trophy exhibition will be held – awards will be presented for Best Fallow - Most Unusual - Best Overall.  

In memory of our former Chairman John Creedon, we will also host the John Creedon Memorial Award for Wildlife Photography sponsored by Countryside Alliance Ireland, the competition will be judged by award winning and renowned Wildlife Photographer Mark Combes. A member’s draw will take place for a hunting trip to South Africa (terms & conditions apply) kindly sponsored by Mayogi Safaris, Eastern Cape, South Africa www.mayogi-safaris.co.za  all proceeds will go to the Bee for Battens Foundation www.beeforbattens.org. There will be a number of exhibitors and a display of African game species to view.
