Countryside Alliance Ireland - love the countryside

The RISE campaign has been successful in a number of respects. It has united the field sports fraternity like never before. We are more organised than ever before. We mobilised more pressure on the government than any other group in recent times and coming closer to destabilising the government, this reflects our potential.

We must now consolidate our position by ensuring that the next Dail is representative of the people; and ensure that a fringe party on the fringes of normality does not hold sway as it has. In that respect an analysis of the candidates for the next election is vital and pinning down those candidates on where they stand regarding field sports, which we must then reflect in our voting patterns.
