Countryside Alliance Ireland - love the countryside

Supporters of the RISE! campaign will hold a deomonstration in Waterford City on Saturday the 27th March to coincide with the Green Party national convention and we would welcome your support.

You are asked to assemble at 11:00 am in the public car park opposite Dooley's Hotel on the Quay then proceeding at 12:00 noon to the Tower Hotel on the Mall where there will be a platform and a number of short speeches. It is expected to end at around 2:00 pm.

Supporters are encouraged to travel to the deomonstration in groups by coach, minibus or alternatively please avail of the excellent public transport services of Bus Eireann and Irish Rail. Each representative group should bring their own identifying banner or poster.

Parking will be available at the following locations;

Kilcohan Park Greyhound Stadium

Regional Sports Centre, on the Cork Road - space for 500 cars

Ballinamona Equestrian Centre on the Old Tramore Road - coaches or cars.

Please allow youself or your group enough time to reach the assembly point by 11:00 am.
