Countryside Alliance Ireland - love the countryside

As we approach 1st September and a new shooting season on Lough Erne, we would like to remind you that shooting permits are required to shoot over the accredited foreshore of the Lough in the areas where the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL) owns the shooting rights.

Lough Erne Wildfowlers Council acts as DCAL's agent for the sale of permits for Lough Erne.  

Permits can be obtained from the following people:

To obtain a permit you will be required to provide a photocopy of your valid firearms certificate and proof of valid shooting insurance cover.  Everyone is welcome provided they purchase a permit, supply the above evidence and abide by the code of conduct.
