Monday, 08 October 2007
Countryside Alliance Ireland has been informed that Irish Ferries have changed their safety policy and no longer allow Guns and other firearms to be carried onboard any of their vessels. We wish to advise our members that have already booked with Irish Ferries and intend to carry their firearms to the UK or France to contact them immediately to discuss their individual requirements. To view their contact details click here

Their website states:

Guns, firearms & weapons, any object capable or appearing capable of discharging a projectile or causing injury are not allowed on any Irish Ferries vessel. to view the full safety document click here.

Countryside Alliance Ireland and the NARGC are lobbying Irish Ferries to reverse this policy and ensure that all our members have a choice and are not discriminated against because of their sport.
