Sinn Féin passed a motion at the recent Ard Fheis calling on the party to Ban all Blood Sports including Fox Hunting and Hare Coursing. This motion was opposed by a large number of delegates. This stance has now been adopted is now party policy. We urge all members throughout Ireland to defend our right to carry out our traditional country sports and to make their views known to all Sinn Féin, TD’s, MLA,s, MEP's and local councillors. All country sports organisations will go forward together and work with those Cumann who support Fox Hunting and Hare Coursing to overturn this policy at the next Ard Fheis. With the European Elections on the horizon this is an ideal opportunity for our members to make their voices heard and to lobby all Sinn Féin candidates on this issue.
