Wild Deer Association of Ireland member Tony Heffernan is delighted to invite you to a Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot to be held in Ruan Shooting Grounds, County Clare. The Event will be held on July 31st and will start at 12 noon. Last Entries at 5pm. Battens disease is a rare neuro-degenerative condition that affects babies, young children and juveniles. At present, it is unfortunately always fatal. Bee for Battens is the Irish based online campaign for raising awareness and supporting those affected by Battens Diease.
There will be Perpetual Cups and 1st prizes in each event, plus a High Gun Prize. The layout will be 15 Bird DTL and 4 Sporting Lay Outs. To register please contact Rose Cotter, Cordal on +353 (0) 87 6891198. Tony and Mary Heffernan decided to set up the Saoirse Foundation, named after their daughter, to provide parents, families and all those affected by Battens Disease in Ireland with support, networking and a credible source of information. The Charity also became a member of a new global initiative between Patient Support and Research organisations worldwide. This is a very worthwhile cause and, with help, the campaign hopes to try and save those affected and find a cure for future generations. For more details click here |
