Countryside Alliance Ireland - love the countryside

Countryside Alliance Ireland have long campaigned for fairer firearms legislation for young people in Northern Ireland and Lord Morrow’s amendments made within the justice bill will assist us to achieve our aims. We also welcome that the bureaucracy surrounding one-off/one-on transactions has been addressed. Firearms dealers and firearm certificate holders alike will benefit from these changes and this is another positive step for sporting shooters in Northern Ireland. 

During the debate Lord Morrow commended Countryside Alliance Ireland on the work we have carried out and indeed Countryside Alliance Ireland will continue to do so to ensure the legislation is safe, workable and fair to all.
