One of the key benefits of Countryside Alliance Ireland membership is the insurance cover provided within the membership subscription. The insurance package provides Personal Accident cover and Employers’, Public and Products Liability cover for eligible members whilst participating in a range of specific country pursuits that are defined as Recognised Activities. 

The Membership Insurance Programme has been renewed for a 12 month period effective 1st January 2010, with the existing underwriters, Chartis Insurance UK Ltd (formally named AIG UK Ltd). 

Included below are the relevant documents regarding the insurance cover in place when you are a fully paid up member of Countryside Alliance Ireland.You will note that in respect of the Liability Insurance, different documents apply if you are a member resident in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. The cover provided is essentially the same, but the Laws & Jurisdiction clauses are different and the Republic of Ireland limits of indemnity are of course in Euro's.

All of the above documents relate to the period of insurance 1st January 2010 to 31st December 2010.

If you have a claim

If you have suffered an accident that you believe may be covered under the Personal Accident Insurance or if an incident has occurred that you believe could result in a claim being made against you under the Employers’, Public or Products Liability Insurance it is important that you notify RK Harrision Insurance Services immediately.

IMPORTANT -  DO NOT ADMIT LIABILITY TO ANY THIRD PARTY IF AN INCIDENT OCCURS – CONTACT R K HARRISON INSURANCE SERVICES FOR ADVICE IN THE FIRST INSTANCE, WITHOUT DELAY. REFER ANY APPROACH FROM A THIRD PARTY TO THEIR OWN INSURER IN THE FIRST INSTANCE OR FAILING THAT, TO R K HARRISON INSURANCE SERVICES. 

All claims should be reported to the Countryside Alliance Insurance Claims Team, R K Harrison Insurance  Services Limited, Woodlands, Manton Lane, Bedford, MK41 7LW.  The Claims Team can be contacted on 01234 311255 or Fax Number 01234 408676 from Northern Ireland  or 0044 1234 311255 or Fax Number 0044 1234 408676 from the Republic of Ireland.
